Your Worklyfe Balance is a virtual wallet where you can receive funds from your company for various types of rewards and incentives. Worklyfe gives you the flexibility to use those funds however you see fit.
You can access your Worklyfe account by logging into a desktop or mobile web browser at app.worklyfe.io/users/sessions/new, or by downloading the Worklyfe app available in both the Android and Apple app stores.
Virtual Wallet (Worklyfe Balance)
When your company sends you funds for the first time, a virtual wallet is automatically created on your behalf. These funds are securely stored in an account that can only be accessed by you via an invitation from the company.
Once you have funds in your Worklyfe Balance, you have the ability to utilize them in a variety of ways.
Virtual Card
The easiest way to utilize your funds is with a virtual card. A virtual card is simply a Visa debit card that exists "in the cloud" rather than existing as a physical card. Just like a normal card, it has a card number, expiration date, and CVV that you can use to make purchases online. You can also add virtual cards to your mobile wallet, which you can then use as a payment option at contactless payment terminals.
Personal Bank Account
You can link a personal bank account to Worklyfe, which enables you to transfer funds from your Worklyfe Balance to your bank. Bank transfers typically take 3-5 business days to complete.
Zelle
You can link your Zelle account to Worklyfe, which enables you to transfer funds through Zelle to your associated bank account. Zelle transfers are nearly instantaneous. Payments take a matter of minutes (at most) to complete.
Paper Checks
If none of the available account options work for you, or if you prefer to receive funds in the mail, you can transfer funds out of your Worklyfe Balance in the form of a paper check that is mailed to your address.
Default Payout Method
When your Worklyfe account is first created, your Worklyfe Balance is set as the default payout method. But once you've created a virtual card or linked an external account, you can select one of them as the default payout method for future rewards through Worklyfe. With a default payout method selected, new rewards will be transferred to that account without any action required on your part.
Transfers
Once you've created or added an account to Worklyfe, you can transfer funds from your Worklyfe Balance to your various accounts.
