Linking a personal bank account to Worklyfe allows you to make transfers from your Worklyfe Balance to your bank. You can also set your bank as the default payout method so that rewards from your company are automatically deposited there without any action on your part.

Link a personal bank account

If you're accessing your Worklyfe account for the first time, you can click the "All payout options" link in your Rewards section. Otherwise, click the "Add an account" button to get started.

This opens up the list of account types that can be added/linked to Worklyfe. Click the "Existing bank account" option. This takes you to the new bank account form.

From here, type in a name for the account that will be displayed in Worklyfe, then click the "Link a bank account" button. This opens up the Plaid interface, which allows you to securely link your bank account to Worklyfe. Follow the prompts in this interface to connect your bank account.

Note: Plaid is integrated with most US banks. If your bank is not officially supported, you can use the "Manual" option, which allows you to connect your bank account using your routing and account numbers.

After completing the Plaid prompts, you'll see your bank in the accounts list on the Rewards page of your Worklyfe account.

Link your bank with the Plaid manual option

If you need to use the manual option, you'll be asked to complete an additional verification step. For this process, Plaid makes a small $0.01 deposit to your bank account with a three character code in the description. Your account will show a status of "Awaiting verification" in Worklyfe.

Once the Plaid deposit with the verification code has hit your bank account, open Worklyfe and click your bank to complete the verification process.

Clicking the "Complete verification" button will open up a Plaid prompt where you can enter the verification code from the bank transaction to complete the process. Once verification is complete, your bank account is ready to receive transfers from Worklyfe.
