A Virtual Card is a virtual replacement to a physical bank card. It can be downloaded to your Apple or Google mobile wallet, or it can be used as a regular debit card online. Once you've created a virtual card, you'll be able to transfer funds from your Worklyfe Balance to the card.

Transfers to the virtual cards are usually executed in seconds, so the funds will be available to spend almost immediately.

Note: Virtual Cards can not be used for PayPal or CashApp, and the funds cannot be transferred to a bank account once they have been added to the card.

Create a virtual card

When you first access your Worklyfe account, we make it easy to create a virtual card. Just click the "Get the Worklyfe card" button.

Otherwise, you can click the "Add an account" button below your other accounts.

This opens up the new virtual card form where you just need to provide a name for the card and an email address to associate with it. (If you decide to add your card to a mobile wallet, you'll get a confirmation email at this address.)

You also have the option to set the card as your default payout method so that future payments from your company will bypass your Worklyfe Balance and go straight to the card for immediate use.

Once the card is created, it will be displayed within your account list under the "Rewards" section of your Worklyfe account. You'll be able to view it from here any time you need.

Transfer funds to your virtual card

In order to use your virtual card, you'll need to transfer funds to it from your Worklyfe Balance. See the help article on transferring funds to learn more.

Set your virtual card as your default payout method

If you'd like company rewards to get sent to your virtual card rather than your Worklyfe Balance, you can set your virtual card as the default payout method. See the help article on default payout methods to learn more.

Make purchases with your virtual card

When you view your virtual card, you'll be able to see its card number, expiration date, and CVV. In order to make a purchase with your card, just use this information to fill out a checkout form anywhere credit/debit cards are accepted.

Add your virtual card to a mobile wallet

You can also add your virtual card to a mobile wallet like Google Wallet or Apple Wallet. To do this, make sure you have the card information handy, then follow the instructions for adding a card to the wallet of your choice.

For convenience, here are some links to instructions for various mobile wallets:
