Your Worklyfe Balance is a virtual wallet that can store funds that you've received from your company through various reward & recognition programs. In order to use the funds in your Worklyfe Balance, you'll need to transfer them to an account that has spending capability.
Tip: The easiest way to spend funds is to create a virtual card within Worklyfe, then transfer your funds there and use the card to make purchases.
You can also connect a variety of external account types, then transfer funds for use there. See the Worklyfe Balance overview article to learn more about the various account types that can be connected to Worklyfe.
Note: At this time, only your company is authorized to transfer funds into your Worklyfe Balance. Transfers from other accounts are not permitted. You're only able to transfer funds out of your Worklyfe Balance.
Once you've created or connected one of these accounts, click the "Transfer funds" button to get started. This opens up the transfer interface where you can specify the amount and the destination for the transfer.
Specify the amount you want to transfer from your Worklyfe Balance. Then use the "Transfer to" list to select where you want the funds transferred to. Click the "Submit" button to bring up the confirmation dialogue. Double check that the transfer details are correct, then hit the "Confirm transfer" button to execute the transfer.
You will then be redirected to a transfer confirmation screen, which indicates that the transfer has been initiated.
Some transfers will take longer than others to clear depending on where the funds are being transferred to. Below are the typical clearing periods for various account types:
Virtual card: Instant
Debit card: Instant
Zelle: Instant
Bank: 3-5 business days
Paper check: 7-10 business days
Transferring funds via paper check
When you choose to transfer funds via paper check, you will be asked to confirm your mailing address. It's essential that you provide a valid mailing address where you can receive mail so that the check can be sent to you.
Once you hit "Submit" and confirm the transfer, a paper check will be printed and mailed to the address provided.
